The information below is meant as a general guide to help fit your child with an appropriate bat for his or her size and age category. Please note players physical strength and skill will vary and your child’s comfort with also be a factor to consider.

Other factors that will help determine the appropriate bat for you are barrel diameter, as well as the drop in ounces in relationship ship with the length of the bat. This relationship is referred to as the drop or minus. For example a 30" bat that is a minus 8 would mean that the bat weighs 22 ounces.
